Another Black Soap Review.

Ever since my return to the black soap community, I have been trying and exploring different types and variations of black soap. I have tried a few and so I have a few reviews to do. Egyptian Goat Milk black soap was the second black soap I tried after Stay Young and this is what I have to say about it.

Product Details: Egyptian Goat Milk Black Soap is made in Nigeria by a company called Cyncel Multilink LTD. I don’t know anything about the company or brand.

Price: 1,500 – 2,500naira. Price may vary depending on your location.

Ingredients: B. Wax, Cetyl Alcohol, Pure Goat Milk, Ascorbic Acid, Vitamin E and Essential Oils.

My Experience: To be fair, I don’t think I have any bad things to say about this soap. It works like every other black soap and doesn’t particularly smell the best, in my opinion. The thing that attracted me to this soap was the Goat milk and I don’t know if I believe it contains goat milk.

It gives this squeaky clean feel to your skin after bathing and the texture was a big problem. It isn’t as soft as other black soaps and requires a bit of effort to scoop from the cup.

How to use: Use as your regular soap.

Pros:

  • Affordable.
  • Because it is a bit tough, you can’t use a lot at once, so it ends up lasting a while.
  • Lathers well.
  • Leave your skin feeling squeaky clean.

Cons:

  • It is drying.
  • The texture is tough and a bit tough to scoop.
  • Not available everywhere.

Rating: 3/5

This is perfect for everyday use and best for oily skin. It does not whiten or brighten, and did not do anything specific that is worth noting. The texture also made me not interested in pro-mixing it either.

Don’t use expecting some sort of dramatic result either. If you need an everyday soap, with no particular issue in mind, then you can give it a try.

Until my next post, Kisses!
