We’ve to the end of April and 12 days ago marked one month of staying home and working for ,e. Honestly, it hasn’t been so bad for me. I’ve had time to relax, breathe, do the things I love and post a lot more here.

Hence, I’ve decided to share my monthly favorites with you. Monthly favorites will involve posts about everything I have been doing and enjoying for the past one month. These posts will be as regular as once a month, every single month.

If you’re up for a change of pace and excited to learn more about a handful of beauty, fragrance, skincare, wellness, products and everything I’ve been loving, settle down and get relaxed.

White Secret Dark Spot Corrector

Staying home, trying to relax, take care of my skin, and generally look better, this face cream has been a blessing to me. It has helped me remove all spots and also brighten my face. I have applied this almost every day for the past month, excluding those lazy days and my face is currently at it’s best.  Also, I’ve been using it to correct some dark areas on my body like between my thighs and my elbows.

RDL Kojic Soap

If you’ve been reading my posts, you will have seen my review on this soap and how I ranted about being in love with it. Well, I still am!! Before the lockdown, I went and got 2 bars of this soap, and right now, one of them is finished. This soap has also been a great help with reactions, pimples, etc. by drying them up, which I also did not have so much of this period.

Sugar Scrub

Of all the skincare products I’ve used this month, this is my absolute favorite and the most interesting part is that I made it myself!! I have used it twice a week for the past 2 weeks and I cannot get enough of it. The way it makes my skin feel, how soft and smooth my skin feels after each use is beautiful. I recommend you try the recipe and give yourself a beautiful, at home spa treatment.

You can find the recipe for my sugar scrub here.

The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F***

The subtle art of not giving a f*** book

The soft copy of this book was sent to me by a friend about 2 months ago. Only this month have I had the time to start it. Although I am yet to finish and I am reading it like a snail, it is worth the mention. It is a worthy read. Once you get over the excess use of “f***” you will come to enjoy the book.

It helps to teach someone like me, who is an absolute over-thinker, how to prioritize things that I should worry about, things that are important to me, and to focus on them. Also, to worry less about unimportant things.

A combination of work, rest, skincare routine, and reading has made my quarantine and stay home period enjoyable and bearable.

How has the lockdown been on your end? What are the things that have helped you keep up with the lockdown? I would love to hear about them in the comments section.

Until my next post. Kisses!

The RdL kojic does it clear dark knuckles? I think the last soap I used darkened my knuckles a bit

    Hi Natasha,
Specifically using it for dark knuckles I cannot tell, but the soap will help lighten you all round.
