Hey! Hey! Hey!

Today I will be reviewing Paw Paw Lotion & soap. To give you a back story, I went to the beauty supply store to get some toiletries and this caught my eye. What attracted me to it was the packaging and color!!! It looks so classy, unique and different and I just had to try it. Without caring about the cost, I decided to buy it and imagine my surprise when I looked behind and I saw it was from Dream Cosmetics.

As soon as I got back home, I went online to try to find out about it and also reviews but I found nothing! Nada! It was like it never existed anywhere, not even on their website so I assumed it was newly released or launched. Before I say too much, here’s my review. I will try to be as detailed as possible because this is a combined review and I have quite a few things to say about them.

Paw Paw lotion & soap review

Paw paw lotion & soap review

Product Details: PAW PAW soap & lotion is a product of Dream Cosmetics. The Paw Paw range comes with the oil, soap, lotion (125ml & 400ml) according to what I saw. The whole range looked so beautiful on display. They all come in the same packaging. The outstanding feature of this range is the papaya extract. I found that interesting and when compared to all the other products from Dream cosmetics, this is the best looking.

My Experience

Honestly, I cannot gosh enough about the packaging of this product! For the price it is beautiful. It definitely doesn’t look cheap. I’ve been using this for about 2 weeks now. The smell of the lotion is not horrible but not the best.

It doesn’t lighten or do anything in particular, or maybe I did not use it long enough to notice. I feel it changed my skin tone to that warm yellow tone which I still do not like. Besides that, it Just maintained my skin tone or maybe darkened me a bit. Who knows! I am still impressed, in the sense that, I can use both the lotion and soap on my face and body without any reactions whatsoever which I haven’t had in a while. Leaving me with what I like, a simple and non-complicated skincare routine that is called Bathe and Go.

Pros: Soap

  • It is big and very very economical.
  • Lasts for a really long time.
  • Smells quite ordinary in my opinion.
  • Helped me clear a breakout I was struggling with around my mouth. I don’t know if I should attribute that to the soap or just me taking a break from what I was using previously.

Lotion

  • 125ml bottle comes in very handy and very portable.
  • Packaging is beautiful.
  • Thick but absorbs really quickly into the skin.

Cons:

  • Smells a bit like Carotone and Caro white and the likes. I don’t think I like that.
  • Noticed it started to make me sweat heavily after like a week of using.

Rating: 5/10

This is one Dream Cosmetics product that has rendered me quite surprised because of the packaging. The main issue I had was when I noticed I started sweating a lot more than usual. I do not think this lotion is for skin lightening but rather for skin maintenance.

Then, I stopped using the lotion but continued just the soap.

If you have any suggestions as to what product you want me to review or try out, leave your comment below or send a mail to me at hpbeau01@gmail.com or admin@hpbeau.com

Until my next post, Kisses
