I know I have been MIA and this has been due to a lot of things going on in my personal life. I’ve been trying to juggle a whole lot, but fear not. I am still here.
In light of what is going on in the world as of now with the COVID_19, I can only say, please stay safe!!!
Today, I will be reviewing A Bonne Miracle Spa Milk with Tomato extract lotion. This lotion was a suggestion from a friend. Initially, when she suggested it to me, about a year ago, I went ahead to buy the A Bonne Miracle white C with Vitamin C (the yellow bottle) and I reacted badly to it. I had breakouts on my face and neck and it was a disaster. So, I gave out the lotion and forgot about it. Whilst we were talking a few months later, she told me she still used the A Bonne lotion and I asked her which one in particular and she told me. So, I went ahead to give it a try again.
Product Details: RA Bonne Miracle Spa Milk with Tomato extract lotion is a Thailand product. It also says contains milk protein, tomato extract, kojic, and glutathione. Comes in a lot of variations, but the ones I am most familiar with are:
- A Bonne Milk Power lightening lotion with collagen – This is the pink bottle and the one my friend uses currently.
- A Bonne Miracle white C with Vitamin C – Yellow bottle
- A Bonne Miracle Spa Milk with Tomato extract -White& red bottle, the one I will be reviewing today.
Price: 1,500 Naira for the 500ml bottle. Price may vary depending on your location.
Ingredients: Water, Mineral oil, Sorbitol petrolatum. cetyl alcohol, Dimethicone, Glyceryl stearate, PEG 100 Stearate, Glycerin, Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, Phenoxyethanol, Fragrance, Carbomer, Methylparaben, Ethylparaben, Disodium EDTA, Potassium Hydroxide, Xanthum gum, Tocopheryl acetate, Hydrolyzed milk protein, Kojic Acid, Alcohol, Solanum Lycopersicum fruit extract, Lecthicin, Aloe barbademsis leaf juice, Maltodextrin, Tocopherol, Arbutin, Glutathione, Ascorbyl palmitate, Linoleic Acid.
My Experience: I love this lotion. I honestly only have good things to say about this lotion and 1 week into using it, I could already tell the difference in my skin. It did not drastically whiten or lighten me but my skin started to get visibly brighter and clearer. I used this together with my shower gel and the combination was wonderful.
- Lightweight but rich and absorbs quickly into the skin.
- Very affordable.
- Brightened my skin, helped me with my dark marks especially my shoe marks.
- Gave me that pinkish pale tone that I love.
- It tends to be not very moisturizing. After an hour or two, my skin looks dry like I haven’t applied any lotion.
- I cannot use it on my face. It broke me out.
All in all, this is a lovely lotion. It is worth the buy and I would be purchasing again. It is probably the best type of lotion for this hot weather. The only issue is that I cannot use it on my face. So, I advise you to get a face cream if you want to use this lotion.
Do be careful when buying especially the A Bonne Miracle white C with Vitamin C (The yellow bottle), I have heard a few other bad experiences with that particular range.
Until my next post, kisses.
