Hi, Lovelies…

I hope you are all doing okay? To jump right straight into today’s review, I will be reviewing White Secret Dark Spot Corrector Cream.

I got to know about this brand from a lady who uses the lotion, the lotion got her like 3 to 4 shades lighter in around 2 months of usage. Before this, I would pass this brand by whenever I go to the beauty supply store with the belief that “cheap skincare products do not work, they are hazardous”. Well, lately that has changed. I decided not to buy the lotion out of fear but I bought the face cream instead as I was in search of face cream.

Product Details: White Secret Dark Spot Corrector Cream comes in a tiny cup. It is quite small though but the size does not compare with the effectiveness of this product. It is a small but mighty cream. The product is from the RODIS TOGO brand and has a full set which includes lotions, soap, serum, oil, and this dark spot corrector cream.

Price: 1,000 – 1,500 naira at the local market. Price may vary based on your location.

My Experience

This cream works like crack! Pardon me! But this stuff works. Dealing with not just a darker face, I also had several spots on my face from my chickenpox episode early this year. So, I needed a bit of skin lightening on my face for my spots and White Secret Dark Spot Corrector Cream worked magically well. I used this cream religiously, morning and night. After the first week of use, my face was brighter and glowy and my spots were visibly reduced. After 2 weeks, I knew I had found my new obsession. My spots have gone from 100% to 15% left. I can go about makeup-free with no worries.

My mum noticed this and without my knowledge started using it too to help with her dark under eyes and it worked wonderfully. Her face is brighter, and smoother and the dark under-eye circles are reduced even though she did not use it as regularly as I did.

Pros:

  • Very affordable.
  • Highly effective and works as promised.
  • It is lightweight, non-sticky and leaves the skin glowy.
  • No darkening so far after I stopped.

Cons:

  • Besides AHA, I want to know what else is the skin lightening agent that makes it work so fast.

Rating 9/10

I highly recommend this face cream to anyone with sunburn, spots, dark marks or any form of hyperpigmentation in most areas of the body. Reduce sun exposure when using it. I would advise using only at night or on days you are not going out or going in the sun to avoid any side effects.

Also, note that this cream does not work to remove or clear pimples. If you already have pimples or acne, treat your pimples separately and use this more like a dark mark/spot correcting cream or face brightening cream.

As of today, 2021, I still have and still use this face cream. It is a great help.

If your skin has gotten to the texture and colour you want, gradually wean off the cream by reducing usage to less frequently till you discontinue because, with continuous usage, your face will keep getting lighter. Instead, focus on moisturizing and protecting your face and skin from sun exposure.

Until my next post, Kisses!

Hey, I have this pigmentation problem. A small area around my nose is fairer dan the other parts of my face.
I don’t understand why and I hope you could help with this problem.

    Hi sonia,
I can only attribute that to a sun burn or something. Usually the nose for sunburns I’ve seen are usally fairer. You can get a dark spot corrector to help you treat this, apply only at night on the darker areas and see what would happen.
AVoid too much sun exposure and use sunscreen.

    Hi Funmi,
You are very welcome dear. Also, sorry about your chicken pox, I can imagine how you felt, coming from someone who had mine a few months ago too.

Do you have any Soap/cream recommendation for that perfect brown skin? Pretty please?😊

    Hi Funmi,
I will recomment Asantee Papaya soap for brown skin, it will help with spots and help clear your skin and for lotion, try Vaseline Healthy Even Tone. I hope this helps.
